I have a USP Compact .40 with the LEM trigger. I am not a big fan of it and want to switch to variant 1 (v.1?). Does anyone know the process and cost for this? My local guy really didn't know much. ("So you want to return it? You bought it a while ago..." "no...")

Re: H&K trigger varients

I remember that a while back CDNN investmensts had some of the replacement components. I'm not sure on the cost of a change over though. I believe that it is more so a modular unit that is replaced. I've heard that HK will convert it for you if you send it back to them.
I think it's about $55 for HK to do it, and like $100-125 for the parts to convert it but I'm not totally sure. A call to HK would give you a better idea. It might be cheaper to sell it and look for a diferent model or maybe sell the LEM module when your done converting to get back some of the money of the V.1 conversion.

Otherwise, if you wanted to try it yourself or have someone else try it I believe that this diagram would show the steps involved.
