Kraig, I didn’t pay attention to the CMP newsletter and arrived at noon Wed. I was number #160 in line for sales that day. They were also selling the last of the 1903’s they had, it was a sales frenzy. We came for couple M1 which didn’t work out too well for us as they gave the floor space to all the .22’s.
So I figured might as well look for a .22, I picked up a Rem 513T in good condition. Now it’s time to hunt down a set of Redfield 75 sights. They had 6 H&R 12 left and about 6 Rem 513T by the time I was let in. They tried to keep about 20 or so on the floor at a time. Always a great experience at the CMP North Store. Snagged mine at $150 another $50-100 in sights and I’ll be shooting soon. This one was also drilled and tapped for scope block mounts. I could go that route too. The stock is dark red color with a crossed cannon SA FJA cartouch.
Any of you guys have a Redfield 75 and a Redfield 60 front squirreled away?
