I am shooting a 700 police 300 win mag. Any body got load data for h1000 on 210 Bergers ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Shooting them now at 2917 fps with r22 72.7 grs with a 2.610" trim and a 3.600 oal but velocity is jumpy. Need more consistentcey.

Aismall,

For any powder made by Hodgdon, this is a good resource:

Hodgdon Reloading Center

In the case were you are using a bullet weight not listed, like the 210 Berger, the method I use is to look at the minimum loads listed for bullets above and below that weight.

In this case, for a 300 win mag and H-1000, Hodgdon calls 72 grains the minimum load for a 200 gr bullet. Hodgdon calls 73 grains as minimum for a 220 gr bullet.

Even though the bullet shapes and lengths are different, I would use 73 grains as H-1000 as my start, and work up carefully from there.

Another resource is Berger. Calling or e-mailing them will yeild you load data for their bullets as well.
