Has anyone tried H1000 in a 22-250AI with heavy bullets? I've got a fast twist and usually use H380 but I finally got through that temp unstable powder and am looking for a better option.

I'm planning on starting around 40gr and working up with 75gr AMAX bullets. If you have given this powder a try I would like to hear how it went.

H-1000 didn't work out well in my 6x47L. Poor extreme spreads, low velocity and filled the case too much.H-4350, H-4831 might be better to start with.

H414 is a very good powder in 22-250Ackley. I have used it for years, especially with 65 grain bullets. FWIW

I have not used H1000 in my 8 twist 22-250AI .Best results in my gun with 39.0 4831sc using 82 Bergers.4007SSC also did pretty well with Berger 82's and 80 SMK's.Hodgdon lists H1000 with 70 gr at 36-38gr so I would start below 40 with 75 gr bullets.
