A couple weeks ago I had around $2000 burning a hole in my pocket and I wanted to buy a new rifle with it. I almost got an HS HTG in .338 Lapua Mag. but missed the email that accepted my offer and someone else snapped it up. Just as well. My money got cut in half and then some because of an emergency at home. In the end I had a little over $900 left. I wound up getting an LTR in .223 for a good deal and then bought a Bushnell 10X40 Tactical scope to put on it. It was all I could afford. Anyway, I took the rifle out yesterday to try it out and was Pleasantly Surprised and feeling somewhat redeemed. After shooting really cheap ammo as well as it did I'm now feeling like I scored a "Diamond-in-the-rough"!!! I couldn't be happier with the performance of my little "Budget" Rig and just wanted to share... Thanks for reading! Here are a couple pics.
