Happy Independence Day to our Polish friends

GO POLAND 🇵🇱

You guys are always on the right side of history in so many ways!

And, then, we save the best (and most awesomeness for last)

Write a message about what branch of business are you interested in? Maybe it is better to contact the producer directly than through the Polish Group. Do you have the right contact?

The Poles singlehandedly saved the west from communism and then our governments sold them the fuck out. Shameful.

Long live Catholic Poland

And though hes gone, there were few men the equal of Pope John Paul II.

Wish we had the guts to do this.
Happy independence to Poland.

It has less spice.

I have eaten when it was ok, just often it was cooked till very dry.
I think very fresh would be the best.

So many Polish dishes are so delicious.
I gained 11 lbs in 2 weeks over there my first trip between food and beer.
Almost all our time was with family and Polish grandmas love to feed a boy. Finish your plate? They fill it again before you can argue.

Plus all the baked sweets and candy.
And liters of beer.
And vodka. Lots of vodka. Pan Tadeusz still has a special place in my heart. I once drank a liter at a wedding. 😊
It was 12 hrs of wild partying that I dont remember all of.
Woke up and first thing I was handed? More vodka and Słedjie (Sp?)

@Smiglans - where in Poland are you?

Beautiful place. Wonderful food. Unbelievably beautiful women in droves....

I think many are good and for sure some are like my ex wife (born in Warsaw) and super hard and have zero ability to forgive or be flexible.
I didnt meet her babcia before we got married or I would have known.... 😉

I come form Czestochowa. The city is very famous for the image of the Virgin Mary (also visible on the hussar armor) and its defense against the Swedes during the Deluge (17th century), but now I serve near the western border (near Gorzów Wielkopolski).
Nice to read so many reports on contacts with Polishness

If anyone knows an Eddie Helmecki from Mass. (may have gone on to be a locksmith after the AF) tell him that Nav sends out a shout out!

Then there was a R. Zyskowski (her own boyfriend couldn't spell her own last name). I love you!

Only two Polacks I ever met. Great ones too!

Guy on the right is one my IPSC shooting buds, he's over here working on weapons programs for your MoD.

He's scary fast and accurate with a SIG P320.

All the Polish .mil folks I met were solid folks.
Quiet and not braggarts.

And they all had the vibe that they should not be fucked with.
They could party like nobodies business, but there was something about them.

My daughter was there and got meet a ton for Polish National Military Day and the huge parade in Warsaw.
I would go back to visit, just as a tourist and not with my ex wife.... be way more fun!!!!

Wife’s maternal grandparents are first generation Americans from Poland. Her grandfather was a factory foreman in Chicago and worked his ass off to raise three girls in a two bedroom house on the Southside. He died before my wife was born. Her grandmother worked for a trucking company as a dispatcher and would make a sailor blush with her jokes, drank like wine too. She was best friends with the lady next door who passed away in the eighties. She and the husband took up together and ‘dated’ until they both passed away a decade or so ago in their nineties. Think I’ve got the chronology right.

Anyhooters, it’s all a very long way of saying that three generations on, a pissed off woman of Polish descent is still her grandmother. Wife got fucked off about God knows what and has gone to bed angry with me. I’m sitting building a rifle and waxing lyrically here.

God bless the Polish and thank fuck for some quiet time with a glass of rye!!!

As you were.

Yep, lots of Poles in the Chicago area.
