Just got a flyer from Harbor Freight in the mail. Flipping through it, I noticed they have a rock tumbler in there for like $30. It might be worth checking out if you are thinking about jumping on the stainless steel media kick.

Re: Harbor Freight Tumbler

For the size and the convenience, I would just go with the larger Thumler. Unless you want to lather, rinse and repeat for very small amounts of cases.

This tumbler (rotary) is ridiculously small. You couldn't do 20 223 cases at a time with it.

I have contemplated getting the larger vibratory one from HF. I already have 2 Lyman 2500's, so I can't justify getting another tumbler.

You can fit 75 .243 win cases and 1# of SS media in each container.
