I ordered some match 308 ammo from southwest ammo awhile back and it took a bit longer than expected to get it shipped. To make up for this error they included a box of 147gr fmj NATO. While checking it out I attempted to chamber a round of the NATO stuff and found that the bolt was fairly difficult to close, tried another round and had similar results. One round even was difficult to extract unfired. I didn't shoot any of it yet but I am wondering if it would be a bad idea to use this in my gun just for plinking. The gun is a savage 10 that has only seen match factory ammo or hand loads.

I personally would not shoot it, after all you did mention
'trouble chambering it as well as closeing the bolt." That is an indicator that something is not right. Why chance blowing up a rifle just to shoot it.
if it was free ammo, use it as a trade or pull it an resize it, so that everything is fine

HOW difficult to close the bolt? Just a bit stiff, requiring firm force on the handle, or do you have to reef on it? Beat the bolt down with an open palm?
If its just firm, you're fine. Shoot it. More than that - probably not dangerous, but I wouldn't advise using it.
