the scarey part is that it probably will shoot and is reasonably safe as long as Black Powder is used and a mild load. Keep in mind Black Powder runs lower pressure than smokeless powder.

It's a neat idea, although it also looks like it has high potential for disaster at a bunch of different levels. I'd be even more interested what this enterprising person might come up with as an optic after tiring of the zinc-plated iron sights (LOL).
