I was wondering what's out there. I have recently purchased a rifle with a picatinny rail on the forearm for the atlas bipod. I need an adapter for it so I can use my Harris bipod. I have googled and came up with one made by GG&G and YHM. Does anyone have any experience with either? Pros and cons?

Thanks in advance

Eddie

Re: Harris Bipod attachment

Before I went 100% Atlas, I used one of these on a Harris:

Larue do this:

ADM do this;

I've got different mounts for different things by all these guys and have never had any problems with any of them.

I'm using both a Larue and an ADM mount on different Atlas - the ADM is really easy to use and doesn't seem to mark the upper.

There seems to be a lot more tension in the lever system on the Larue but that is easy to adjust.

Re: Harris Bipod attachment

I would recommend the Atlas Bipod with an ADM adapter.
I went a different route as I was looking to use a Harris 25C for coyote hunting and built my own adapter to use an American Defense Manufacturing mount. With installing and removing the bipod alot I was concerned about wear on the picatinney rail using a LaRue QD mount which was not a concern with ADM. If you don't plan to swap the bipod alot the LaRue QD system for a Harris is a great option.

Here is a link to my project.
