I pulled a Harris bipod out of the safe but the friction lock won't work now. The brass colored part on the front of the assembly rotates and the bipod will not lock up anymore. I have no idea why either, it worked fine when I put it up a while back. Anyone else encounter this and know how to fix it?

sounds like the threads are stripped, I'd have to go look at mine to see what parts are from Harris and what parts are from my Pod-lock but I'm betting you'll need to call Harris and order a new threaded piece.

unscrew the locking nut, and check to see if the threads are stripped... this happened on one of mine
