Gunsmithing Has anybody tried a Marlin X7 in Winchester S/A

Have a bull barrel marlin 308 and have bedded factory plastic one but still to flexible and wanting a better one but haven't seen anybody making one. Have heard the Winchester s/a will fit in it? Wondering if anyone has seen it or tried it?

Boyds makes a thumb hole stock for the X7VH. Adding pillars or bedding your action would be a nice upgrade to the factory stock.

Yes i called them yesterday, there out of stock on them right now but should have them in soon. They have built in pillars but not a full bedding block.

Well i have came across a winchester s/a B&C medalist stock with bedding block in and its being shipped to me to try and give it a try. Got a pretty good deal on it now if i can find bottom metal without breaking the bank.

Here it sits in a B&C medalist for a winchester 70 S/A. Action screws line up but will need lots of inletting, got some bottom metal coming and i believe i will make sure it works before i start on the stock
