Has anyone ever used the Harris HB9 adaptor for flat fore ends

The stock on the Crusader is so flat the Harris spins unless tightened really tight. I know I should have gotten the rifle set up for the Atlas.
So I saw the flat adaptor on the Harris site and thought I would ask.....
