Has anyone shot a factory Seekins 6mm ARC rifle

Anything Seekins will be accurate and fantastic. I’ve owned 6 Seekins ARs in various calibers and still have 4. Great quality and CS. Tight tolerances.

Does anyone have experience with a Seekins 6mm ARC rifle? I can’t even find a review anywhere. I’m curious how they perform.
I just saw this thread and was looking at the Seekins since it came out and finally decided to buy it. Also got their complete upper 223 so I can switch them out. They make good stuff.

You should buy one - it is a high quality build for a very reasonable price. I just got one took it out for the first trip and it is a hammer with Hornady Black 105s. Sub Moa at 100 and held MOA out to 1000. My speeds were a little less than planned at 2625 avg.

Only issue I had is it runs great with a brake, but is way over gassed with my Ultra 7. It has their low profile adjustable gas block. I wanted the selectable lever one, but the rifle gas system is under the hand guard. I didn’t mess with the tune yet, but might try for the best tune for both or cut back the handguard so it can set the lever one right at the end.

Can’t you access the turn screw through the hand guard? All my Seekins that had that block you could. Also, that much pressure it’s gonna be high has no matter what probably

Yes, you can access it through the hand guard. I liked the one with the throw lever since it is tool less and you can flip it to increase and decrease on the fly, but I will know more once I try actually tuning it since shot it out of the box for the first go

What did the brass look like? I imagine the case mouth was beat up a bit if you hadn’t adjusted the gasblock. Where there any extractor or ejector marks on the base which may indicate early unlocking?

Brass was all good. Just super sooty with the suppressor and clean with the brake. No marks or swipes on the brass. I plan on tuning it to the suppressor and seeing is there is enough gas for the brake. We’ll see
