Specifically the new flat nose match and the Rfile match. I've shot some of the other stuff but haven't tried that yet.
Thanks, Kevin
Thanks, Kevin
I've tried almost every brand and type of rimfire ammunition.
At least 50 shots across a chronograph at 200 yards and posted the results.
If you'd like to compare 22lr here's the link...
50 at 200
I think I've come up with a useful scenario...maybe. 50 shots at 200 yards, rimfire, whatever setup makes you happy. 22lr, 17 hmr, 22wmr, 17hm2, 17wsm, all brands, all types. Full benchrest setup, bipod, bags or one-piece test rest, it doesn't matter. Grab a chunk of cardboard, about...www.rimfirecentral.com
SK Magazine is bulk ammo.
SK Standard + is bulk in a 50 round box.
SK Match flavors are midgrade 22lr with some batches much better than others.
LP, best 22lr results so far we're with Eley Match and SK Biathlon Sport.
Just with those particular boxes.
Rimfire production quality is not a constant.
It varies during it's time of manufacture.
Even though it is made in the same factory on the same machines
minor changes in chemistry and assembly can cause major differences in results.
We have no control over the production,
every purchase is a roll of the dice.
Don't get fixated on brand, only ammo quality and the results are important.
This week it may be Tenex or Midas+,
next week it could be RWS R50 or SK Pistol Match.
Welcome to the rimfire ammo lottery.
