Has anyone tried to mimic a marble finish?

Re: Has anyone tried to mimic a marble finish?

Not quite what you're looking at but it shows that anything is possible with paint. Green candy marbled.

How exactly did you do that?

I'm curious too. Not looking for a marble paint job, but was wondering how you did that with paint.

Looks like House of Kolor Marblizer, http://www.houseofkolor.com/speedshapes/speedshapes_artistic.jsp

You spray a the stock with a darker color, then you spray the marblizer on and wait about 20sec then put seran wrap or plastic on. When you pull the plastic of it leaves the pattern then you can either put a candy over it and clear it or if you don't want to candy it you need to first put a clear basecoat over it before putting a 2 pack clear on it. If you put a 2 pack clear straight over it it will flow out with the clear and change the pattern, found that out the hard way.

Now that's pretty cool.
