My 30 caliber suppressor is threaded 5/8 x 24, and I have a .223 that is threaded 1/2 x 28. I understand that thread adaptors may be available, but I have concerns on how these might work in the real world, and the pros and cons of using same. Thanks in advance for any feedback/information that you can provide.

Thread adapters work great, I use them quite frequently....today, in fact!
Below is a link to the member here selling some. I bought 2 from him a couple years ago and am very happy with them! Threads are exactly as described and there is absolutely no wobble. If there is any wobble or play in the threads - it's because either your barrel or suppressor is threaded wrong, these adapters are dimensionally spot on!

I don't know the seller, but I know a great product and you won't be disappointed.
