i am thinking of getting a suppressor for my ar15 in 223. i use this gun for coyote hunting.

is it well built?

can you really change point of impact to be close to unsuppressed zero?

whats the total length that it ADDS to barrel length?

how thick of a barrel can you have to still use flash hider?

However, in retrospect, I would have bought the AAC 762SD and run it on everything. It's a .308 caliber can, so it is about the same length as the SPR-M4, but it does not reflex back over the barrel any. Adds more length and front-heavy weight. BUT, it only takes one investment of tax stamp/transfer fee/cost of the can itself, and can be run on everything you have that is 30 cal and down. Especially now that they are making 'em on the 51 tooth mount, you can get the "brake-out" mount that would normally be used for the M4-2000 and use that to run the 762SD on your 556 rifles. My older 762SD is an 18 tooth mount, so I just use the M4-1000 mount on 556 rifles that don't have enough barrel space for the SPR-M4 mount. Like this one:

And a buddy of mine who learned from my mistake, got the 762SD and runs it on his Seekins/Larue 556 and his Larue OBR. It is at least as quiet as my SPR-M4 when run on his AR15.
