Is it just me or are others having trouble with the site?, slow load etc. and no PM?
I fear the Gooks are in the wire--s. and instead of bullets, they now put a virusshitteraomerino in to attack and it comes down the line and the next thing you know, your computer is fucked up as Hogan's Goat and needs an overhaul. like it has the Drippy Dick.? only to go down to the computer repair store and the kid from down the street from years ago punches out a Metric shit ton full load of keystrokes and gives it back and tells me my settings or some other shit was off.?? No charge Pops, And what did I learn, NOTHING. Went too fast and ASSUMED I knew what he was doing and understood all of those MBM,QUer's, and other many lettered words>, as any other dummie would know.
Alas, I need to spend more time learning how these fuckers work and figuring things out. Who knows, I might learn how to post a nice picture.
Who has an idea as to a book to read for illiterate people?like me and my friend as far as computers goes?
I have a friend who needs to learn also and unfortunatlly is worse than me. So we will learn this together.
Let me know what books to read please.. FM now, that is how to make a sentence that means something.

And for all those whiny little snapperheads who once gave me crap for using the term "Zipperheads" as some kind of ancient racist term.... I did the etymology research on the word.

The term Zipperhead first appeared in the 1983 book "Short Timers" by Gustav Hasford. Semi-autobiographical work that was the basis for the Kubrick movie "Full Metal Jacket." It was then appropriated by Oliver Stone in his semi-autobiographical work "Platoon" where the term "Zips in the wire" originated.

It had NO basis in Vietnam, Korea or WW2... and is not some ancient racist term to denigrate slopes, chinks, Japs or dinks. It was made up by writer and by Hollywood, who didn't want to use the more traditional terms.

So next time someone give me a rasher of shit for using the term "Zipperhead...." the $#@king Gooks can blow me!

And since it wasn't Zipperheads who hacked SH on Friday Night... it was Chinks.... screw the Chinks! If they have a problem with that... they can drive up here and bitch at me in person. Except they can't drive.

PS. Gooks has a real etymological basis. From the term in Korean "Guk" or "Meguk" meaning Korean or Foreigner. Or 'other person.' There are several potential origins. So that's where that term came from. Not from some author who made up a fantasy term that Hollywood latched on to!

My latest buy was a Savage 12FV in 6.5 Creedmoor from Cabelas on sale at around $300 with a rebate of $100 from Savage VistaPromotions for $100 and guess what? I still don't have the rebate after many weeks. over a month or 2 and many calls so I would not put much faith in their promotions, but the rifle shoots great. Can't ask for much more at that price point, but Damn, if you lure me in with that rebate, honor it.
