I have come across two tools that look the same. They look like they operate the same. I have a Hunter town arms suppressor (that is now out of business) and I Have stuck the baffles. I started looking to see if there are tools that will help remove stuck baffles and came across Dakota removal tool and AAC Element.

Has anyone ever used one of these? What was the result?

I don't know specifically what it's made out of, but if the fear of corrosion is minimal then you might try a heated ultrasonic cleaner with Simple Green and water mixture. You'd have to babysit it and make sure that no two parts are semi-engaging each other and being worn by the ultrasonic force, it's always a good idea to disassemble any parts fully for this reason and make sure they don't touch in the bath, but good chance you'd have success. Make sure to promptly but lightly re-oil any parts you clean, the bath done correctly will strip all oil from the surfaces.

I have the Dakota Silencer tool. It works great on my Varminter 3.0. I wish I would have bought it right away. If your can is direct thread, it should work well. Only question might be the brass baffle pusher thingy on the end. It's a certain shape that fits the shape of the baffles on the DS cans. But even so, you could put a chunk of wood or something between that and your baffle stack, and it should work fine.

So I received the product today. I have been told to use penetrating oil and let it sit for 48 hours. I have heard people say to use an ultrasonic ( I did) and even had a couple of people tell me to get a wooden dow rod and beat it out with a hammer. I did not want to do this, as I have several suppressors and really don't want to take an up to 1800 dollar suppressor and beat on it with a hammer.

I went out to find a tool and see how it works. It worked very easy and was worth every penny I paid for it.
