Rifle Scopes having both moa and mil scopes

how bad a idea is this. my only current nice scope is a nf 8-32br with a npr1 (limited run with npr1)

im thinking of buying another nf but getting it in mils. i think i would have alot more options if i knew both systems. but also realize the imfortance like systems.

what are the thoughts of you folks

I don't think that you will ever be totally comfortable in a critical situation myself. Pick one and school it.

I own both mil and moa. It's a good thing to know how to use both. I use the mil reticle and knobs on my tactical gun while I run the MOA stuff on my benchrest rifles. Wont take you long to figure it out

As long as you match the turrets and the reticle you should be fine. I like the moa system, but I have really learned to use the mil system and because of using it so much, I think its easier to go to now.

Practice will tell you which you like more.
