Having trouble using the site?

I must be an idiot. I can’t figure it out. If it makes a difference I’m using my iphone.

When I select search I get the following opions

Search everything
Search threads
Search media
Search albums
Search media comments
Search resources
Search campaigns
Search donation comments
Search events
Search tags

When I select search everything there is no drop down just options for searching by name or keyword and sorting by date.

If I select search threads, it gives me the option to narrow it down to a sub forum but not a specific thread.

What am I missing here?

I run android in the chrome browser so things might look a little different.

First off which mode are you using? One of the Realms? (I don't know how it's laid out.)

If using one of the 2020, it's easier.
Click the magnifying glass. (above).
Click the gear.

I was using the style with the gear so pre 2020 I guess. After they switched up the platform recently I lost that and have the newer style.

Is there a way to revert back to the older setup with the gear? I know how to navigate that system.

Scroll all the way to the bottom. Should look something like this. Click the Realms: Snipers Hide and you should be back to sanity.

On my PC I can view the forum, but I can't log on. I either get a blank screen with a note that says connection was rest, or I get a drop down notification that says your changes have been saved. I think the issue is the login happens through the hidetv vs snipershide.com.


I can still log on using my android phone.

I purchased a supporter subscription on Sept 30 and while Snipershide.tv shows me as a supporter, my forum account still shows free and I cannot post in the PX. Submitted a few contact request and logged out and back in. The last couple times I purchased the supporter status it was automatic, is there another step now?

I do not want supportor status anymore and wanted to cancel before i was charged for this month. I can not find how to unsubcribe and can someone refund me for this past month. Only posting here after using the contact page and not hearing back after 2 times

I sent a PM and Contact Us message re: my Supporter tag has disappeared, but I show my monthly renewal paid on 11/30. Under my account details, it also shows my email as a weird generic address and won't let me correct it. Emailed notifications have stopped, so I'm afraid to log out in case I won't be able to log back in. Thanks for any help y'all can provide.

I'm having the exact opposite issue. I can't log in on my iphone (tried multiple browsers) and therefore can't use the app, but logging in on my laptop is no problem. I can still browse without logging in, but as soon as it tries taking me to thehide.tv, it says it cannot access the server.

It's been this way for months.

I get this on the app except it won’t let me log into via the app, I can get on through the normal website on my phone but the app itself won’t work or load. I try and log on, I authorize the app to use my account but then it just goes back to a guest account. Any idea what’s going on @alexj-12

Hello! Just a heads up that the site has been a little glitchy at random times for maybe the last five days. Randomly it's been very slow to refresh, sometimes it'll be very slow to accept new comments.

Hi Alex - I see you guys expanded the “insert quotes” dialog box to incl a function to reorder the quotes (I think that’s what was added). This made the dialog box wider and now the insert quotes action button is off the screen of my iPhone 16 and the only way to make it work is to hold the phone in landscape orientation

Not a big deal but thought to mention it.

Ah…never mind. User error sort of.

Here is what seems to actually be happening

Anytime I insert my cursor into the txt entry box, it increases the zoom so the right side is cut off.

Only noticed this doing quotes because the action button is on the cut off right side.

Maybe it’s always been like that and I’m an idiot (well, that last bit is beyond dispute. lol )

Ok, slinking off back into my cave now. lol

Hey no worries! Unfortunately I don't believe this is something I can fix as this has become a pretty common pattern for phones and even my phone does that across several different websites. I'll run it by the team to see if there's anything we can adjust here but I think it may be something happening within the browser or phone software. Appreciate you reporting it either way!

Occasionally (just now for example) it is hard to scroll past certain posts. Currently it is posts from Instagram. Have to scroll enough to get past it into the spaces in between posts or grab the tiny area to the sides. Has happened to me before with Twitter posts. Sometimes lasts a couple days and then goes away.

Galaxy s25 in chrome browser.

Went to check again as I was writing this and it's working. It is a recurring thing and was wondering what was up with it.

hello,

I'm having trouble changing my avatar picture, I click on the photo or the edit prompt and it says changes saved but does not allow me to edit.

I’ve tried on the the mobile app, safari and chrome.
