1.25 height—what objective size for clearance?

Depends on setup. It would be fine for a 56mm objective if there is nothing running down the length of the barrel. Something like a NV bridge or full length pic rail down the forend would probably be too close.

for reference I’ve used Vortex PMR rings in 1.1 height with a 56mm objective and never had a issue.
