Gunsmithing head space on AI

Being new to removing and reinstalling my AI barrel I am wondering if it is necessary to check headspace on my AI AE MKII every time I put the same factory barrel back on? I don't own a set of go, no go gauges and would prefer to save money for ammo. Any help would be appreciated

No you can't aadjust it anyhow. Torque same everytime and roll on
