Natchez is having a closeout sale with some serious discounts on A-III packs, A-III molle packs, A-III large packs, A-III med packs, Patrol packs, a few cases, and a few other bags. The savings are significant, well over $100 off on most items. The A-III pack for example that is regularly $145.94 is on sale for $39.95, you can't get POS airsoft grade gear for that.

Looks like they're sold out of the dsicreet AR15 case in most colors aswell as the other cases.

My understanding is the Eagle Industries items on sale at Natchez Shooters Supply are not US made but instead made in the Dominican Republic. Not knowing this I ordred three M4 discreet cases the evening of the original posting. After I placed my order I found out that they were not made in the USA and was able to cancel the order the following morning.

Steve @ Triad Tactical posted in the other thread that it would be difficult for the average buyer to notice any difference between those Eagle Industries products manufactured in the Dominican Republic versus in the U.S., and all their products carry and would be backed by the full Eagle Industries warranty and customer service.

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

I looked back a few pages but hadn't seen where it had been posted, I got my March flyer in today and saw most of the stuff was still in stock so figured the hide hadn't gotten word.

I have both USA made Eagle stuff and Dominican and I cannot tell the difference in the two. It's made from the same materials and the manufacturing quality is just as high. For the price there is absolutely no way your going to come close to this stuff. I just wish I wasn't broke right now and could get more, I picked up a Khaki A-III MOLLE pack but really wanted one of the courier bags, and a escape and evade bag to use for a range bag.

Haha, I bought the E&E bag for the same reason. If only the Sigma III with M4 insert was part of the sale.......

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

Well I gave in and ordered a black escape and evasion bag too. I had to pay another $14 in shipping but I figured I still wouldn't be able to touch the price and it's a super high quality bag that will double as a range bag, and one to carry crap around in everywhere. I talked myself out of ordering the Courier bag but now kinda regret not getting one of them too. Ohh well, they won't allow you to change orders and I'm not going to pay another $14 in shipping.

Mine came in today and I think I will use it for the exact same role as well as outdoors adventures. Nice bag all around.

COCK TEASE!!! Haha. I saw that in the flyer and would have ordered one if they were in stock. I don't fly but could have put one to very good use for carrying clothing, shooting gear and other stuff for weekend outings. It would probably make a nice travel bag in general. The way I see it a decent suitcase would easily cost you $55 and wouldn't be nearly as durable or pull double duty. Ohh well, I missed out on that one though. I got the A-III molle pack and escape and evade bag so I'm happy.

Im with everyone else when I saw the original post I would have jumped in on the bag as well but out of stock. at least a few of us got in on it

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

Got a couple of knives on sale and a Eagle Becker Patolr Molle Syle Pack Khaki.
I didn't need the pack or the knives; I just wanted them and they were all on sale a great prices.

Another heads up for those who reload. The have the MTM 100 round deluxe ammo box's in green or red on sale for $8.99. That's the cheapest I've found. Midway also has them on say this month but they're $9.99 which is still a pretty good deal

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

Got my A-III MOLLE packs today. There are slight differences between these and the US-made versions I have (thinner paracord and straps are the most obvious), but should certainly suffice for casual range use. Definitely much nicer than other packs I've seen in the $50 price range...

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

I just got my second order and all I can say is Natchez's return policy BLOWS.

Upon opening the package and inspecting my escape and evade bag everything looked perfect except the zipper for the outer pocket is defective and sticks in 3 places. I called Natchez and they said they have a few more of those in stock and could exchange or return. The guy said send it back and we'll refund your shipping back but not the shipping for the item to you, and that they would need me to provide my CC number to charge shipping for the replacement back to me or they could use the credit from my return shipping back to send it. WTF? so they send me a defective item and I have to pay two shipping charges by time I get a new one back to me.

It's also weird that I placed the order for this item more than 3 hours after I placed the order for the A-III molle pack and some other stuff but checking the online shipping this order was shipped 3/1 and the first order didn't ship until 3/2.

They have good prices, but I will order from somewhere else from now on. They rip you off with shipping charges when you have to return something even if its defective or they sent you the wrong item, you can't add anything to the order like you can other places even if you are willing to provide them a CC number to charge the other items on even if the order hasn't finished processing, and they obviously don't ship out the orders in the order that they're received.

In all the dealings I've had with Midway any time something has been wrong they've taken care of it and provided exceptional customer service and they actually give you the feeling that they care about your business. When I told the guy at Natchez that I doubt I would be placing any future orders with them he said "ok".

Re: Heads up on Eagle gear for CHEAP

Yeah in the same boat as well, and also on the escape and evade bags. Ordered 3 item types, all in Ranger Green. By the time they are ready to ship, the most desired item is now out of stock despite their 'real time' inventory saying the opposite. I call back saying to go ahead and ship what they do have.

When it arrives, I pop the box only to see some distictly gray E&E bags with black trim next to the ranger green backpack. Back to their website and the RG E&E are listed as 'in-stock', so I call Natchez ... "nah they're out of stock now" he says. I then notice on the invoice that it says two RG bags were shipped, yet someone hand wrote a slash mark across the print-out and wrote a 0. Guess that after this correction, they then decided what the heck, let's just throw in the gray bags so we don't have to correct the invoice and billing and see if he notices.

My call to Natchez ended the same way, they had a ho-hum attitude ... so what if we shipped what you didn't order. He asked if I just wanted to keep it, and when I said no, he said I would have to pay to ship it back and they would re-imburse my return only, not the original shipping that they charged to send something I didn't order.

And as for some comments about the quality of these non-US Eagle items, I'm starting to wonder as well. I found that one of these bags had the wrong label on the inside.

My Eagle industries ammo pack rifle stock was $37 + $10 shipping from Eagle in 8-2008.
It arrived with the rear Velcro strap inverted.
Fortunately, I was able to get my wife to rip the threads and re sew it.
When I called Eagle about this, they did not know what I was talking about.

Maybe it was trouble in the Dominican Republic.
