Heavy buffer and spring in factory MWS?

I'm planning to upgrade the stock on my MWS with a Magpul UBR in the coming weeks. In preparation I spoke with Clint from Heavy Buffers.com regarding his recommendations for my setup.

If I pickup one of his buffers and springs prior to changing out the stock is it safe to run the new buffer and spring in the factory LMT RE until I swap?

I've had no issues running a Tubb CWS in my factory configuration MWS.... I'd think you'd be fine.
