Which heavy duty bipod would you choose for a heavy High recoiling rifle? I want to put it on my 375 CheyTac Imp. I tried to shoot this thing off my regular rest and unfortunately it's to muzzle heavy because of the long heavy barrel and it tips off the rest falling forward, so I need another setup thank you guys.

If the rifle is tipping forward, I'd suggest you move the fulcrum point (bipod) forward to get it to balance. No matter what bipod you use, it'll still tip forward unless you move it towards the muzzle. Another option would be to add weight to butt.... Of the bipods suggested, Elite Iron is a solid choice, innovative and non-infringing.

The problem was that it was tilting forward on the bench rest not the bipod so that's why I decided to go forward with a heavy duty bipod

Not sure you would be willing to try this but have you ever considered using a real rest versus a Bipod. A SEB rest would solve all of your problems. They make models that can counterbalance an 80 lbs. bench rest rifle. They are rock solid but may not be allowed in your type of shooting competitions. They are also very pricey.

accutac makes a really heavy duty well built bipod, i just hate the way their legs are constructed with the springs. I have seen alot of guys run the really wide atlas model on some big bore stuff. Most all of mine are atlas psr and and Harris brms, but most of mine weight 14#+ and that soaked most in not all recoil. My buddies shoots an atlas on his light weight christensen 300 norma and another with a fixed harris on a sendero 300 ultra mag.

kind of liked the idea of these for there wide stance just not a lot of height not to mention most tables I have available would hardly fit them with wise .
