Hey guys,
Thanks for the welcome. I love AZ, and the space and freedoms we enjoy here. I'm a serious shooter, and thus excited to add another discipline to my sport. The long range stuff combines art and science, which makes it exciting, not to to mention that it's a great stress release from work and cool as sh?? to hit a small target a 1000-plus yards. Have a 1080 yd range on FS land 15 minutes from the house. Pretty fortunate I reckon. Ken in WY, went to school in Laramie and lived in Lander in the past. Like AZ, WY is a great state!

I'm 50mi N from the border in Douglas, where there is a retired ANG base range going out to 300 meters. Great place, we share it with CBP/ICE/LE. Club matches on Sunday mornings, including 2 gun combat and some Garand matches.
My Garand is accurate (wish I was moreso at 72), I am setting up a combat setup employing a Ruger PC Carbine and Ruger American Pistol 9 Pro that share magazines, and I'm also working up a 28" custom 2001 Savage 10FP 260 using 95 V-Max for Varmint comp (3400fps estimated).
