Hello from Arkansas. I have always shot guns and shoot multiple competitions but have never gotten into “long range” stuff. I plan on buying a nice entry level rifle soon and getting into precision rifle matches soon enough. Last Christmas my father had me a “bucket list” gun made and being that it was a “bucket list” gun, i went with a 338 lapua mag on a defiance action. The sad part is I don’t have a scope yet so I haven’t shot it but plan on getting one soon, Maybe on here! Look forward to learning a lot from you guys and gals. Cheers!

Welcome from Texas. You may change your mind on a the bucket list gun design after seeing some of the bad ass stuff other members have here. There is definitely no short supply of instant information to sort through.
