Hello all im rick and i am new yo the long range shooting . Ive been listening to the pod cast for the past 6 months and been skimming post here for a while. I just made my first purchase on Here a few weeks back. Cant wait to learn more about all this my longeat range ive been to is 300 yards. Most around me are 100 yards. So hoping i can learn some stuff here.

If you have locations or tips about longer range shooting, please share. Right now, I think the closest legitimate 1000 yards range is down in Coalinga a couple hours away

Na Sunnyvale rod and gun club where they dont yell at me for going 6mph in the parking lot. Yeah for longer ranges avenal gun club is hosting a local prs style match this sunday 16th, cost is 20$ and 50 rounds of ammo. Targets are out to 900 yards. Think the also have a nrl 22 style match on the 15th. Think cost is the same. http://avenalgunclub.com/

All the ranges around Fresno are around 900 yards & for a little extra you can shoot at the 1000 yard target if you get a full membership. I prefer to go out to the hills in Mendota because there’s nice elevated positions for spotting bullet splash & easy to setup targets way past 1000 yards. Only problem is I need help from friends or family to set up targets & carry equipment because I am disabled
