Hello from Colorado

New to the forum. I have been shooting my entire life and just started the PLR and love it. Took one class at NRA Whittington and did well with my set-up. I started shooting at a local match and realize I have a ton more to learn and practice on. Great people at the match and everyone is working to help everyone advance their skills. I am looking forward to this forum and learning and sharing.

Welcome to the Hide. There are many Colorado members on here, including the site's owner (Lowlight). Put your location in your profile and people could refer you to some matches depending on where you live - there are lots of matches going on here most of the year, and it's the best way to meet people in the community, unless you just want keyboard friends.

Thank you for the feedback. I updated my profile to list Longmont. I've shot two matches at NOCO and enjoyed meeting the individuals and getting the needed help on how to do better at PLR shooting. Check the "Local Match Announcements" subforum on here. There are regular precision rifle matches in Pueblo if you don't mind the drive, run by Hoser, and the Raton Sporting Rifle Match is an excellent hike and shoot match, but again, not close to Longmont. The Colorado Rifle Club has a monthly precision rifle match . All prone and very small steel targets - about an hour and a half away from you. If you enjoy rimfire, soon the Boulder Rifle Club and the Green Mill Sportsmans Club in Erie will be running monthly PRS-stule rimfire matches - check the respective websites....
