After many long conversations with buddies who know far more than I do, I've decided to finally get off my keister and take the jump into long range shooting. I grew up shooting critters and running cattle on a ranch in southern Idaho. The wife and I decided to make the move to northern Idaho 12 years ago, and we're loving every minute of it.

I'm here to soak up anything and everything I can about long range shooting. I know just enough to get me in trouble at this point....

I'm currently shooting a Remington 700 BDL Varmint Special in 25-06.

I'm very excited to start this new chapter in my shooting life. Hit me with everything you got!

It truly is. I love CO as well. For the last 10 years, I make my yearly trek down to Durango for the week of Memorial Day.

Nice! We do a week in n Sun Valley every summer (work for me and I bring the fam along to vacation). I plan to bring the dirt bikes out and stay an extra week this year to explore some single track out that way.

Awesome! You'll definitely have plenty of single track to choose from. I was never big in to the two wheel motoring, but had plenty of friends who were.
I was born and raised about 12 miles south of SV. Small World!
Have a great trip when you head up!
