So the hex key Compass Lake sent to adjust my gas block is way too short to use. As you can see, it sits inside the handguard. I tried going in from one of the M-Lok slots but the key is so tiny it just flexes without enough room to actually turn the screw. I ordered two sets of 9 inch T handle keys down to 2mm and I still don't have one small enough to fit. Is there a way to do this without having to remove my handguard? Need to get this thing adjusted so I can shoot with my supressor.

What size allen is it? McMaster Carr sells individuals and lists the handle lengths, so if you know those two dimensions you should be able to find something to fit.

Eklind definitely makes one long enough. Find out what size you need. Should tell you in the manual. What gas block is it?
Whatever adjustable gas block Compass Lake had on hand when they built my rifle. Paperwork made no mention of it and I have no idea what size this key is. Whats the best way to measure it? I have calipers and a ball micrometer.

Compass lake is a good company from my observations. Give them a ring and I bet they can tell you what size you need. If it’s like the cheapest gas block I can find then the Allen to lock adjustment after set is on the side and a different size. Gotta adjust before you need to worry about locking though.

If you can’t find a store that has any sets with a bit that small then find out we’re the nearest Mac, snap on, or Cornwell truck is. You can get the local guys # at a friendly mechanic shop. Actually a friendly mechanic would probably have what you need. If you can’t find and don’t want to wait for the right tool then go to a fab shop and pay a welder to extend your Allen

🤷‍♂️ Never snapped a Bondhus off in any of my SLR, Superlative, or Seekins gas blocks. Did you find one that works for you yet? Buy a set of snap on T handles I guess

I know you were addressing Slevon but my issue is the length. I ordered a bunch of stuff from McMaster Carr to see if I can find anything that will work. 1/16 is small as shit and there isn't a lot out there.

Bondhus hex drivers, as mentioned above. for my SLR adj gas blocks, I have several in varying lengths from 2" bit length up to about 8" I think. From Amazon.
