Help: Buffer data overload.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can share.
I’ve searched and read to the point that I’ve thoroughly confused myself.
I’m working on acquiring parts for an Noveske AR10 builds they use a VLTOR A5 set up. i’ve got the spring and extension tube ordered but can not, for the life of me, source the A5H3 buffer the use on their OEM builds.
Question: can you use a carbine buffer with an A5 tube/spring? Or do you need to stick with the A5
Size buffer?

I believe the Noveske just uses the A5 extension tube... so with the longer 308 BCG , you need a typical AR15 carbine 3.25" buffer .

The A5 buffer would be to long, when used with the longer 308 BCG.
