Rifle Scopes HELP - Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5 - 30 X 50MM

Hello

I am trying to decide between 2 scopes for my new 700P

Vortex Viper PST 4-16X50 FFP EBR-1 MRAD

or

Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30X50

These are my only 2 options here locally.

I would prefer the higher magnification but <span style="font-weight: bold">I can't find out whether the Bushnell is FFP?</span>

The rifle will be used for target out to 1000m but also hunting. Do you think 16X magnification is adequate for long range?

Any help would be appreciated.

That Bushnell is not FFP.

You can get a 6-24 power PST, you can also get a Bushnell tactical that is 6-24 power and ffp. All these scopes have a ton of reviews on them here.
The gist of it all, the PST scopes are a great value for the coin, the Bushnell 6-24 is a great value for the coin, buy with confidence.

I've owned that 4.5-30, it is sfp as said, if you don't mind sfp, go with a Sightron SIII, it's what I run now, hunting and fclass, it exceeds my expectations, great value for the coin, the glass beats the 4.5-30.

Mate, do yourself a favour and go to the Optic Zone website, they ship to Australia...Just keep it under 1K to avoid paying tax. A lot cheaper than buying locally with our strong dollar atm.

For the price the Bushnell are nice. I have used them in the past and they will do the job. We are a dealer for them also.

Mike you have no problem with sending scopes to Australia? Sometimes it's hard to find vendors who will go to the trouble.
