So Im visiting my inlaws and decided to hit up a few local gun shops. I ran across a HOWA stainless in 308 with a heavy 24(?) in barrel. The stock was a wooden green/pepper vertical grip . I've never seen anything like it, it was a beautiful stock. I asked the owner of the shop about the stock and he pointed out the butpad which said Boyds on it. That leads me to believe this was a Boyds stock, but I'm not seeing it on their website. Does anyone know of this stock? Id like to use one for a planned build on a Savage action.

Boyds has changed their stock models over the years. It could be an older model or a Fajen stock. Try ... www.richardscustomrifles.com Lots of interexting stocks there.

Boyds discontinued this model and only carries the thumbhole version of it now.
