Help Me Improve. How to Get More Precise?

My buddy has almost the same rifle as you. Ruger American predator in 6.5CM. with factory ammo he shot a 5 shot group just under 10 inches at 1,000 yards. It's not the fanciest gun out there, but it shoots damn good.
I shoot Berger VLD Hunting bullets. 3 shot group under 5 inches at 1,000.
Your gun should shoot. And VLD hunting bullets can shoot.

quality brass, annealing, neck tension via bushings in that order.

Just the factory trigger on this one, but I adjusted it to be as light as possible. Other than the goofy Glock-style blade on it, it’s really not that bad. I usually shoot two stage triggers and looked for one, but I guess no one makes one for that rifle.
