Help me pick out a scope for my 17!

Looking to spend $500ish. I'd like something in 3-12 or 4-16. Something with an illuminated reticle. I really want to get some custom knobs for it too.

Any suggestions?

The illumination really makes it hard to meet that 500 budget. I cant think of any good illuminated scopes for under 5 bills.
