I magnettospeed v3 is next on the list and all I have is 100y to practice and occasionally I get to shoot some after our local PRS style match but I've been guesstimating since the beginning going off books and looking online. Been shooting 155 elds in my 20" 308, bumping up to 45.2 from 44.8, with 44.8 I figured I was around 2775. Any help would much be appreciated. Is quick load a website or and app? Any other good resources for stuff like this?
Please anybody give me a ball park FPS? With the 44.8 load I figured I was around

There are so many factors that come into play to give your bullet the actual velocity it has. You really need a chrono to measure it.

Quick load is a program. It will give you a velocity number but you then have to adjust some entry numbers to make it more correct.

I know I'm getting a magnetto v3 next payday. But some has to have experience with 155s and varget 20" barrel. Only shooting to 700. Maybe next match I can hang after and true at 700.

If you're in a bind, you can "reverse engineer" your muzzle velocity by knowing what your dope is at say 500 and 700 yrs. By using a ballistic software, the BC will be constant, try plugging in different mv's to check and compare your dope at those particular ranges. That will give you almost an exact mv for your load. I hope this helps.

I would do that but it's match shooting to 700 and practice at 100y. Need to find a place that has open range days. They used to at my local match but not since summer but they do allow some to stick around afterwords and ahoot. Which I do and have true mv's that way before.
