HELP PLEASE: Drilling Billet Upper

I am looking at purchasing a Rainier Arms UltraMatch Billet upper. It is an older version and does not have have the pre-drilled alignment hole for the Noveske NSR Rail in it. I was wondering if anyone knows if I purchase the upper, is there the possibility of have a gun smith drill out the hole in the upper?? I really like the upper just want it to have the alignment hole for my Noveske rail. Any help will be appreciated. I also live in the Seattle, WA area if any members know someone that is close that could do it.

I had to check online to see what you were talking about. I recently bought a couple Rainier UltraMatch uppers, didn't pay much attention to the extra hole.
If you get the exact specs, any decent machine shop could drill the hole. There are a number of them in the Seattle area. There are a couple good ones here in Spokane, if you are bored and like to drive...

Rainier does SOME gunsmithing work in house...might be worth a call/e-mail to them to find out if they might be able to do it prior to shipping it out to you. Couldn't hurt to ask!

If you can live without it you don't need the alignment pin.
