Hi, I cant get any 308 match ammo so i decided i might buy match bullets and reload them. But most of the brass i have is a bunch of different mixed types. Would the accuracy suffer if i try to use different types of brass? I was going to load hornady ELD match bullets. Please let me know if the mixed types of brass would cause the accuracy to suffer greatly? I only have about 40 rounds of match ammo. Normally i like my match ammo to be all the same.

The answer is yes, greatly. Capacity varies tremendously among brands. Even among the same brand capacity varies by lot number.

Start by sorting your headstamps, have your largest amounts then make a pile with all your assorted for sighters and plinkers. In the future try to settle on one or two brands of brass it will make your life easier. For now take detailed notes and you will figure out brand A needs 1/10 more grain and brand B needs 2/10.
