Gunsmithing HELP savage 10 which .223 blind mag box?

A little background first:
ended up with a Stevens 7mm-08 that i'm converting to .223. It is in a B&C medalist stock (modified a little).

Everything is done to be shooting .223 but it's a single shot at the moment. (Don't ask how it shoots i've just shot it in the dirt off my back deck to check funtion.)

Ordered an OE .223 magazine box and spring/follower (pictured left) from Midway but it doesn't allow the bolt face to catch the next round, it just slides right over the top without even touching the next case in the magazine.

The oe short action mag box that came in the gun is on the right just for reference.

Any ideas what the OE part number is of the magazine box i need?

The one on the left is a stagger feed mag box. The one on the right is a center feed. They are not interchangeable.

You need this one, but you won't need the bottom cap. It snaps right off.

The detachable mags and the internal box mags are the same metal box without the bottom cap?
