    Surprise, AZ
I had be using a low profile claw mount on my HK SR9T that required me to take of the rear sight. I picked up an A.R.M.S. Claw mount for the HK SR9T that is supposed you use the rear sight and has a hole thru the mount to let you do so. I re-installed the rear sight be after trying may times to install the A.R.M.S. over the rear sight it just would not fit over it. It looks like there is not enough clearance to fit over the sight. I don't know what I an doing wrong.
Am I wrong in my assumption that the mount allows you to use the iron sights as well as a scope or am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Arms mount goes infront of the sight. You should see two areas on the reciever where it locks into.

It should mount in the same location as your low rise mount.

I had an arms mount but changed to the German HK mount with a pic rail mounted on it.

The ARMS #1 mount should work 100% with your SR9T. I have had one on an SR9TC for years and its great.

Off hand...and by no means intending to insult your intelligence...do you have the mount on the rifle correctly? Levers should be on the left, cocking handle side of the rifle with the ARMS markings on the right. Also, is the mount lined up properly in terms of being in the correct position fore and aft on the rifle (on the mounting tabs, etc.). If not, it is possible that the mount won't fit properly.

    Ord,
Thanks so much problem solved and no offense was taken. The problem was just as you suggested. The mount would go on correctly with out the rear sight sight. But this dummy had the levers on the wrong side. ARMS logo was on the left not the right. Switched it out and now works 100%. One would think after 40 years of shooting and mounting literally 100's of mounts and scopes I could have figured it out myself. I am truly embarrassed at my incompetence.

Glad you got it sorted out and got it mounted up properly. It should serve you well now. Out of curiosity, what optic did you mount on it? I have a pre-Mk4 M3 Leupy 3.5-10x40 on mine.

    Good luck and good shooting!!

    ORD,
I have a USO ST-10 with 0.1 mil EREK elevation, US #1 0.1 mil windage, red illuminated MIL/MPR reticle with push button adjustment, ERGO parallax adjustment,2" sun shade with ARD, USO rings and caps. I usually don't use fixed power scopes but I really like this setup. I usually am a Nightforce guy. This was my first USO scope. Thanks again for your help.
    Regards,
    Santo
