Ready to order a conversion kit for my MRAD. will be shooting at a mile plus. In practical terms how much of a difference is ther in the 24" and the 26"? Researching through the site it looks like 40-50fps slower. I would prefer the 24" since I will be using a can, will I regret it? Thanks for the help

If your shooting lapua factory lapua ammo it was designed for 26.5 or 27" inches if I remember, for complete powder burn.
If you targeting a mile consistently, 30" so you can chop it down then you shoot it out.
You'll get there with a shorter one but why handicap yourself when you already know your distance.

My 338 is 26.5" but at my elevation it could use the extra barrel length and speed if consistently shooting a mile. I have been playing with the idea of chopping it down to 20" for the hell of it though.
