I was finishing a barreled action today and for some reason part of it got runny. I wiped of the excess and let it dry. My question is, can I sand blast that area and respray, or do I have to start over?

Re: Help with duracoat mess ip

may be easier to match-up if you feather it out with a scotchbright pad.
It is really hard to get a run using Duracoat. If your using a two stage gun, spray on a medium coat and then come back across the area you sprayed with just air. This will help flash the duracoat dry...good luck!

You could work the runs out with 400 grit paper after it dries. Then hit the whole thing with a light coat to blend the sanded area.
