I have had two Leupold Delta’s in my safe for about two years. I was overseas, then busy etc....I finally decided to augment one of my pistols a couple of weeks ago as I mostly use RMR’s. I went out and shot one sighted it in and took it home. Then decided to put it on a different pistol. What happens? I manage to strip the elevation / windage! I was super bummed.
TWO IS ONE AND ONE IS NONE.....
I took out my other new Leupold Delta, mounted it and in less than a day I managed to do the same thing again! I’m assuredly at fault but does anyone have any constructive suggestions as to what I could do? I know Leupold warranties everything for life but dude! If had known then what I know now about how lame those adjustments are (YES ITS MY FAULT) on the first generation of red dots I would have never bought them.
I have been very happy with my Leupold mark (5)’s, (6)’s and their VX-6 HD line....but this?
Suggestions?
