I am looking for information on a firearm I recently procured.
It’s a Winchester Model 70 Super express in 458 win mag. The rifles serial number dates at 1982. The twist is the rifle has a satin chrome or nickel receiver, and a high polish chrome or nickel bolt, the follower of the rifle is jeweled as well. I can’t find any reference material relating to the chrome or nickel receiver. Any help on the origin (i.e.… distributor exclusive or custom shop) or model difference would be greatly appreciated as well as maybe a fair market value? Thanks to all in advance!
