Help with Lapua brass

Hello: I bought some Lapua 260 brass for necking it up to 7mm for 7mm-08 loads. According to my reloading manuals, 260 and 7mm-08 brass are 2.035" in length. The brass that I received all measure 2.018-9 in length. Is this normal for Lapua brass to be this short? This is my first using Lapua brass. Thanks in advance.

2.035 is max length for .260 off of the top of my head. All new brass is usually undersized.

Roger that 2.035 is Max length and 2.025 is trim to lenghth.

Thanks guys. It just seemed it was way short at the manufacture length of 2.018-9. Maybe i am over thinking this.
