Help with my next build!!

Ok my next build is going to look similar to these rifles. One is a Chandler M40. IBA's site says "Hart #7" but Hart's website doesn't give any info on the size of a #7. Basically I'm wanting to know what the type of contours are on these barrels.

The remington 700 SPS Varmint uses a #7 contour barrel. Just go check those out.

I have a 700 Police and the taper isn't the same as the ones pictured. I want a straight taper about the same size as a Factory Rem Var

Would you say those are both close to a Krieger #8 or #9??

The barrel taper is the Hart Regular HV taper. (1.200" for 4" x .913 at 26")

I'm not doubting you but it looks a bit smaller than a .913.
Maybe my eyes are messed up. I have a MTU contour thats 24'' and it seems it would looks larger if it was 20''

They seem to look the the standard M40 contour.
