Help with ring size and height

I have recently purchased a new scope and I need to know what height rings I need to get. The scope is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP MOA and is sitting on a 20 MOA tapered picatinny base on top of a Remington Model 700 5R .308 24". I sat my scope on top of my existing rings just for reference. To see if any of you guys would know off the top of your heads.

While one school of thought is to minimize the gap between the barrel and the objective I generally go up one size from what's recommended to get my head in a more upright position.
